Frequently Asked Questions
Supper Made Simple delivers meals to your door up to 3 times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
You choose what is best for your budget and lifestyle.
You can change days as desired by letting us know the week before as well as pause the service as necessary.
We are currently delivering to the West End of Richmond, to the East of the Museum District, parts of the East-end and South-side into Midlothian, Bon Air and Northern Chesterfield.

Each evening we have a different meal.
With over 100 recipes, there is always a variety from week to week.
We also offer a lot of flexibility for our customers to change their delivery days weekly to work around their schedule and the menu.
Our chef prepares our meals daily in our commercial kitchen off of Broad Street.
Like any food business, we are inspected by the Health Department to ensure a safe and clean process.
Chef David prepares the meals without any preservatives or trans fats using only the freshest ingredients.
Our drivers pick up the meals from our kitchen in the early afternoon and generally deliver between 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
If you aren’t home, simply leave a cooler out and our drivers will leave your meals.
We ask that you leave your ice-pack out (refrozen if possible) on your next delivery day.
Our meals are generous portions with single entrees priced at $10 plus tax for our recurring plan and $12 plus tax on our intermittent plan.
Customers on the recurring plan order between 2 days and 5 days per week, Monday – Friday.
These days can be set or can change weekly depending on individual needs.
For those also offer a Family Pack which is $25 on our recurring plan and $30 for intermittent service.
The Family Pack feed between 3 and 4 people and generally has foods separated out in separate containers which is always important if children are involved! 🙂
Our drivers do not accept tips which makes it easy for everyone – no monetary transaction at the door!
Just a friendly hello with your meal.
We try to make simple accommodations when possible.
For example, we can substitute chicken breasts instead of thighs in a recipe or we have some customers who want extra veggies and no starch with their meals.
Just ask us and we can let you know if it’s possible!
There are no contracts but we do ask for sufficient notice for cancellations due to the planning that we do.
Generally we ask for at least 48 hours to set up a new customer, change a meal day or cancel meals.
We value your feedback and offer a complete satisfaction guarantee.
If there is any reason a meal you receive is not to your satisfaction, please let us know and we will credit the meal back to your account.
No need to return anything.
Our meals should be just as good when properly refrigerated for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to two weeks.
They come in microwaveable containers for easy warm up or, transferred to another container for oven heating.
Absolutely! Our meals make a great gift for just about any occasion – a simple “thank you” for a nice gesture, someone recovering from surgery, a break for mom, new baby/ home or simply to let someone know you are thinking of them!
Just reach out and we can provide a gift certificate for any amount of meals.
Yes but please bear in mind that our kitchen is not a gluten free nor nut free facility and our services may not be suitable for someone with extreme sensitivity.

Yes, we do offer peanut free meals. Please indicate this or other allergens on the sign-up page.
However we do not currently offer a gluten free option, although many meals are fresh and will have little to no gluten.
Our drivers pick up the meals from our kitchen in the early afternoon and generally deliver between 1:30pm and 4:30pm.
Customers on our recurring plan receive a zippered insulated bag and if they are not home, we leave the meal inside along with a gel pack that was designed for food transportation. They stay frozen longer than ice packs without the bulk and mess of an ice pack.
Customers receive a note with their first order which has heating instructions and reminds them to leave their bag out on their next delivery day if they don’t plan on being home.
We also ask that you leave your ice-pack out (refrozen if possible) on your next delivery day.
Supper Made Simple makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to separate the foods so those with allergies are not impacted. However, there is always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Please be aware that our facility prepares foods and uses ingredients in our products that contain nuts or nut oil. If you have any type of severe food allergy, please refrain from eating our products.
